Take a Look Around

A Word from our Centre Director

I believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, capable, and deeply loved. I strive to create an environment where children can learn through play, curiosity, connection, and meaningful relationships.

I believe strong leadership begins with kindness, trust, and leading by example. Supporting educators to feel confident, respected, and inspired is just as important as supporting the children and families within our community. When a team feels supported, children thrive.

I value open communication, inclusivity and genuine partnerships with families. Every family brings their own story, culture and experience, and I believe these should be celebrated and reflected within the centre environment.

My Philosophy is centred around creating a calm, nurturing, and engaging space where children are encouraged to become independent, resilient, and confident learners. I believe early childhood is the foundation for lifelong wellbeing and learning, and I am passionate about ensuring each child feels a true sense of belonging.

Above all, I aim to lead with compassion, authenticity and purpose. Creating a centre where children, families, and educators feel supported, empowered, and proud to be a part of the community.

In addition, your child will be provided with cool drinks throughout the day.

To maintain the requirements in our Sun Safety policy, we will provide your child with a hat which will be washed regularly and remain at the centre, and sunscreen.

What You Need to Pack

To ensure your child’s rest and relaxation needs are met, could you please  provide a bottom sheet and a top sheet- cot sheet size fits our beds well. If you would like, you can also include a blanket  in the cooler months.

If your child has a special comfort item or dummy, please provide this, labeled. Dummies will be stored in individual dummy pots to maintain health and hygiene requirements.

We enjoy a range of different sensory exploration activities and love to be creative. Sometimes this means we get a little wet or messy! Can you please provide your child with a couple of changes of clothes and underwear, just in case.

If you can label everything and supply it in a small bag, your child will have their own locker to keep it in.

There are many opportunities for children to represent and explore ideas using a multitude of media. Thoughtfully organised learning centres in each room and outside allow children to revisit equipment daily, building upon skills and developing knowledge.
